Allergenics ointment is a nourishing and protective moisturising emollient suitable for sensitive, reddened and chapped skin, developed using hypoallergenic ingredients which significantly reduce the risk of allergic reaction. It is enriched with fatty acids (EFA's) from borage oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. EFA's are essential for preventing moisture loss from the skin, helping to protect against cell and tissue damage and maintaining the balance of prostoglandins - substances which regulate reactions such as inflammation. A combination of plant sterols, zinc oxide, antioxidant vitamin E and the soothing properties of aloe vera, provide a highly effective emollient action which helps to maintain skin elasticity, hydration plus protection against external irritants.
