The Blueair 6 series Air Purifier was named the number one air cleaner
on the market - that is, having the best clean air delivery rate - in an independent
study conducted by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers which tested
167 air cleaners. Blueair achieved the highest rating ever given out by the
Association.
Number two on that list, of course, was the Blueair
5 series Air Purifier. So when a customer is looking for the best air purifier for their home,
there is no question, it's Blueair.
The E.P.A. ranks indoor air pollution among the top five
environmental risks to public health. According to the E.P.A. indoor air can
be anywhere from 2 to 100 times more polluted than outdoor air.
The average person breathes in 3,600 gallons of air, per day. Compare that with
the single gallon of water a person consumes in a day, and people's increasing
desire to have more purified water.
Recent studies suggest that we spend about 90% of our time indoors, and the
health risks from polluted indoor air can be debilitating, even fatal. While
everyone is at risk from poor quality indoor air, the most susceptible are the
young, the elderly and those with chronic illnesses, allergies and asthma, especially
respiratory and cardiovascular disease.
The bottom line is that the EPA has recommended that everyone take steps to
improve the quality of their indoor air.
The Clean Air Delivery Rate is the most important issue
when it comes to comparing air purifiers, and the Blueair 6 series Air purifier has been rated
number one. What's more, the 6 series, the 5 series and the 4 series Air Purifiers have been recommended
by the Association for Home Appliance Manufacturers for even the largest rooms
in your home - up to 550 square feet. Even in a room that size, the Blueair
provides a complete air exchange every 11 and a half minutes.
